Sookh is a muted grey silk saree designed around the beauty of restraint. Its softly luminous body carries tonal woven butis in delicate leaf and floral-inspired forms, placed across the drape with a quiet, unhurried rhythm. Some motifs appear in a darker charcoal tone, while others catch the light with a subtle zari glimmer.

Technique: Traditional Chanderi Handweaving on frame looms.

How It’s Done: The warp is set with thousands of fine threads, giving Chanderi its signature crisp transparency. The weft is hand-inserted to create the smooth, lightweight structure the craft is known for. Borders or motifs (if included) are woven directly on the loom using the classic extra-warp or extra-weft methods practiced in Chanderi.

Time Taken: 2 weeks for loom setup and 2–4 days to weave one saree, depending on motif complexity.
