CRAFTMANSHIP DETAILS

Technique: Jamdani Weaving, a heritage extra-weft technique where the artisan adds each motif by hand on the loom, using separate threads to create floating, delicate patterns.

How It’s Done: Every step — from punching the cards for motif design to preparing the loom, softening the yarn, aligning threads, to the final weaving — is done entirely by hand with controlled tension to prevent breakage.

Time Taken: 2 weeks to hand-prepare the loom and 3 full days to hand-weave one saree.
