Zehar Mohabbat is a black Chanderi silk saree with a deep, lustrous body and hand-woven gold floral buttas placed across the drape. The small flowers stand out against the dark base like flashes of light, giving the saree a rich yet restrained character. How It’s Done: The warp is set with thousands of fine threads, giving Chanderi its signature crisp transparency. The weft is hand-inserted to create the smooth, lightweight structure the craft is known for. Borders or motifs (if included) are woven directly on the loom using the classic extra-warp or extra-weft methods practiced in Chanderi.

Time Taken: 2 weeks for loom setup and 2–4 days to weave one saree, depending on motif complexity.
