Khwaabnama

Khwaabnama is an English-blue silk saree with a soft sheen and floating silver floral motifs scattered across the drape. Its dreamy blue tone feels calm and graceful, while the delicate motifs add just the right amount of festive charm.

The subtle yellow border brings warmth and contrast, making the saree feel fresh without losing its quiet elegance. Style it with silver or pearl jewellery for festive gatherings, intimate celebrations, and evening occasions that call for something refined and poetic.

Technique: Traditional Chanderi Handweaving on frame looms.

How It’s Done: The warp is set with thousands of fine threads, giving Chanderi its signature crisp transparency. The weft is hand-inserted to create the smooth, lightweight structure the craft is known for. Borders or motifs (if included) are woven directly on the loom using the classic extra-warp or extra-weft methods practiced in Chanderi.

Time Taken: 2 weeks for loom setup and 2–4 days to weave one saree, depending on motif complexity.
