PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Sookh is a muted grey silk saree designed around the beauty of restraint. Its softly luminous body carries tonal woven butis in delicate leaf and floral-inspired forms, placed across the drape with a quiet, unhurried rhythm. Some motifs appear in a darker charcoal tone, while others catch the light with a subtle zari glimmer.
The cool grey base gives the saree a calm, contemporary character, making it easy to style across different occasions. A structured border in deep charcoal and soft ivory frames the body with clean horizontal stripes, adding definition without disturbing the minimalist mood. The contrast of muted metallics and dark neutrals creates a refined finish that feels modern yet rooted in traditional silk dressing.
Sookh drapes smoothly and allows the small woven details to reveal themselves gradually as the saree moves. Pair it with a charcoal, ivory, black, or deep maroon blouse to bring out the tonal palette. Silver jewellery, oxidised accents, pearls, or a single statement ring will complement the saree beautifully. For a softer look, choose a muted grey blouse and let the zari butis provide the only shimmer.
This grey silk saree is suited to intimate celebrations, evening gatherings, formal lunches, cultural occasions, festive dressing, and quiet events where understated elegance feels most natural. Sookh is a versatile choice for anyone drawn to neutral sarees with carefully considered craft and detail.

CRAFTMANSHIP DETAILS
CRAFTMANSHIP DETAILS
Technique: Traditional Chanderi Handweaving on frame looms.
How It’s Done: The warp is set with thousands of fine threads, giving Chanderi its signature crisp transparency. The weft is hand-inserted to create the smooth, lightweight structure the craft is known for. Borders or motifs (if included) are woven directly on the loom using the classic extra-warp or extra-weft methods practiced in Chanderi.
Time Taken: 2 weeks for loom setup and 2–4 days to weave one saree, depending on motif complexity.
