Dilse Bloom is a contemporary checked cotton saree in a soft ivory-white base, detailed with a fine charcoal grid pattern. The clean checks give the drape a graphic, modern character, while subtle peach and grey accents add warmth and dimension to the design.

A contrasting border in charcoal and muted orange frames the saree with a neat pop of colour. The same accents continue through the pallu, creating a balanced finish without taking away from the understated appeal of the checked body. How It’s Done: The warp and weft threads are carefully arranged on the loom, and the artisan weaves the checks by hand, maintaining precise alignment for consistent patterns throughout the saree.

Time Taken: 2 weeks to hand-prepare the loom and, 2–3 days to hand-weave the saree.
