Technique: Handweaving on traditional pit looms with multi-colored checks; sequins hand-stitched on the pallu.
How It’s Done: The warp and weft threads are arranged to create vibrant, even checks, handwoven carefully on the loom. The pallu is then embellished with sequins, each individually hand-stitched to integrate seamlessly with the fabric.
Time Taken: 2 week to hand-prepare the loom, 3 days to hand-weave the checked saree, and 2 days to hand-place sequins on the pallu.
