Saunira is a delicate cream linen saree that brings together the nostalgia of childhood summers and the quiet refinement of hand-done detail. Its soft, airy base is traced with a checkered pattern in warm brown thread, creating a gentle grid that gives the saree structure without taking away from its lightness. The result is an elegant piece that feels both whimsical and composed.

Across the checks, floral embroidery blooms in soft pink, lilac, ivory and green. Each small motif adds a touch of colour and texture to the linen, with tiny flowers, leaves and garden-inspired details appearing across the drape. How It’s Done: Every step — from preparing the loom, softening the yarn, aligning threads, to the final weaving — is done entirely by hand with controlled tension to prevent breakage. After which every saree is set on the frame to be embroidered by Hand.

Time Taken: It takes about 2 weeks to hand-prepare the loom, 3 full days to hand-weave one saree, and an additional 6 days for the detailed thread embroidery.
