PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Meher is a delicate silk saree in a faint rose-gold tone, woven with zari across the base for a soft, all-over luminosity. Its understated sheen changes gently as the light moves across the fabric, giving the drape a quiet richness without making it feel heavy or overstated.
Small zari butis are scattered across the body, adding subtle texture and detail to the otherwise serene surface. The border brings a stronger graphic finish through rows of fine stripes in rose gold, muted mauve, and light metallic tones. This contrast gives Meher a refined structure while keeping the overall look graceful and easy to style.
The smooth silk falls beautifully into soft pleats and carries a natural festive glow. Style it with a rose, mauve, ivory, or deep plum blouse to bring out the colours in the striped border. Pearl jewellery, delicate gold accents, or antique-finish earrings will complement the saree’s muted shine. For a more contemporary look, pair it with a simple sleeveless blouse and let the zari base remain the focus.
Meher is suited to intimate celebrations, festive lunches, evening gatherings, wedding functions, cultural occasions, and elegant formal dressing. It is a versatile silk saree for moments when you want something luminous and special, yet calm enough to feel completely effortless.

CRAFTMANSHIP DETAILS
CRAFTMANSHIP DETAILS
Technique: Traditional Chanderi Handweaving on frame looms.
How It’s Done: The warp is set with thousands of fine threads, giving Chanderi its signature crisp transparency. The weft is hand-inserted to create the smooth, lightweight structure the craft is known for. Borders or motifs (if included) are woven directly on the loom using the classic extra-warp or extra-weft methods practiced in Chanderi.
Time Taken: 2 weeks for loom setup and 2–4 days to weave one saree, depending on motif complexity.
