PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Tarang is a striking midnight green silk saree with a rich teal undertone and a softly luminous finish. The deep body is scattered with delicate floral butis, each detailed in silver-toned thread with a small pop of bright yellow at the centre. The motifs add rhythm to the drape while allowing the saturated green silk to remain the focus.
The saree is framed with a refined silver zari border, finished with vivid yellow edging and fine metallic lines. This contrast gives Tarang a fresh, celebratory character and brings a flash of colour to every fold. The yellow and silver bands continue along the pallu, creating a clean, graphic finish against the deep green base.
Smooth, fluid, and easy to style, Tarang moves beautifully with the body and catches the light as it drapes. Pair it with a bright yellow blouse for a high-contrast festive look, a silver blouse for a more luminous evening finish, or a deep green blouse for a tonal silhouette. Minimal silver jewellery, yellow gemstone accents, or contemporary statement earrings will complement the zari detailing without competing with the saree.
Tarang is suited to festive celebrations, wedding events, evening gatherings, cultural occasions, and special dinners. It brings together the richness of silk, the energy of yellow, and the calm depth of midnight green in a saree that feels both traditional and distinctly modern.

CRAFTMANSHIP DETAILS
CRAFTMANSHIP DETAILS
Technique: Traditional Chanderi Handweaving on frame looms.
How It’s Done: The warp is set with thousands of fine threads, giving Chanderi its signature crisp transparency. The weft is hand-inserted to create the smooth, lightweight structure the craft is known for. Borders or motifs (if included) are woven directly on the loom using the classic extra-warp or extra-weft methods practiced in Chanderi.
Time Taken: 2 weeks for loom setup and 2–4 days to weave one saree, depending on motif complexity.
